Oxytocin sprays first appearance on the market somewhere around 2006; they came to extol the benefits of being able to receive complete strangers who literally eat out of the palm of your hand. Obviously, this claim was a bit far-fetched and only used as a marketing gimmick, but sprays of oxytocin may have a positive impact on the user of the spray. This article aims to highlight some of the known facts of oxytocin and why these sprays work in the way they do.
The hormone oxytocin is found in almost all mammals, in one form or another. Many comments were made on these animals, with some surprising results. For a start it was shown that oxytocin levels emitted from primates in situations where they have the choice of a partner where numerous than in multiples of normal activity. Levels of oxytocin also showed significantly higher among monogamous animals (animals that choose only one partner during their lifetime mating).
In humans, oxytocin is also present; it is produced naturally by the human brain. Oxytocin has been used in medicine for many years, it is used during childbirth and other medical conditions using, however, oxytocin to combat anxiety, shyness and other social problems is relatively new. Oxytocin was found to be expressed in humans in extremely large quantities during times of sexual intimacy and bonding. This has prompted the development of oxytocin nasal spray.
Oxytocin products are now marketed to single or businessmen. The idea is that potential partners will find you more trustworthy hopefully increase your chances of getting a date or making a sale.
